Aquent Designated As An “Official Marketing Partner” Of The American Marketing Association

Aquent to sponsor AMA seminars related to Brand Infrastructure

Boston, MA (May 21, 2003) — Aquent announced today it has established an “Official Sponsorship” with the American Marketing Association (AMA), North America’s largest professional marketing association, to develop and implement a series of events centered on Brand Infrastructure development.

“Brand consistency, speed to market, and efficiency are enormous challenges facing organizations that are attempting to manage brands on a global scale,” comments Chris Moody, president of Aquent’s consulting division. “Large corporations can begin to address these challenges by building a comprehensive Brand Infrastructure, allowing them to protect and grow their most valuable asset.

“An enterprise Brand Infrastructure begins with the definition of core business processes that support brand implementation. People and technologies that enable these new processes round out a well designed Brand Infrastructure,” he added.

Aquent will sponsor a series of five seminars in which top brand leaders will share real-life experiences about the steps they’ve taken to build a successful Brand Infrastructure. In addition, Aquent will work with the AMA to develop educational tools that address marketing strategies under the umbrella of Brand Infrastructure development. Aquent and the AMA anticipate creating other Brand Infrastructure Development programs capitalizing on Aquent’s expertise in Marketing and Branding Technologies and AMA’s expertise in publishing, communications, and professional development programs.

"We are pleased to be partnering with Aquent to help surface this important marketing topic. Brand development is more complicated and challenging than ever and marketers will definitely benefit from the insights and information that these seminars will provide," comments Nancy Costopulos, Senior Director, Marketing and Sales at the American Marketing Association.

Aquent’s consulting division includes its Marketing and Branding Technology practice, which helps companies find and implement the right technology to manage digital assets and safeguard brand integrity.
