 Formerly Aquent’s country manager for Germany, Claudia took up the role of Regional Director Central & Eastern Europe in 2006, which added six countries to her responsibility.
With a specialised recruitment career spanning 11 years, Claudia has made a significant impact on the growth of Aquent in Germany and beyond. By focusing the company on niche sectors within the marketing, creative and communication fields, she has helped position Aquent as an industry leader with growth in business of more than five-fold within three years.
Claudia started her professional career with Arthur Andersen in Germany in 1985. After a three-year apprenticeship in accounting and tax she worked for six years with Arthur Andersen’s General Practice Group in Hamburg. In 1993 she moved on to Arthur Andersen’s international Audit Group as a Senior Auditor in charge of mid-sized audits in Germany.
In 1996, Claudia left the tax and audit field to start her recruiting career within Michael Page Finance in Frankfurt. She helped grow the business in Germany dramatically and started Michael Page’s south German business with an office in Munich.
Prior to joining Aquent, Claudia served as an international Senior Manager for TMP Worldwide in Munich, where she managed national and international recruiting assignments.
With a unique combination of accounting and recruiting experience, Claudia has first-hand knowledge of the challenges that today’s international markets face.
